Why is my student seeing a different name when they log in to take a test?

The following could be reasons why a student is seeing a different name:

  • Student entered an incorrect ID when logging in
  • Student is rostered under a different ID
  • ID has been reused within the district

Troubleshoot the issue with one or more of the following steps:

  • Make sure the student has the correct Student ID and is entering it correctly.
  • Use the option to Print Test Tickets and hand them out to the students. This ensures they are entering the same information each time to log in.
  • Using Student Lookup to verify the correct ID for the student
  • Administrators can go to Administration > Manage Students > Search/Edit Student to search for a student to find their correct ID
