Testing Interruptions
Interruptions, such as a student being exited from a session or a test session closed prior to students finishing, can happen. Here is our guideline on how DataManager functions when these types of interruptions occur.
The assessments delivered through our DataManager platform are designed to uphold the highest standards of validity and reliability, ensuring that student responses are captured accurately and consistently.
To protect the integrity of student work, the system saves each response whenever an answer is selected or changed, as well as when a student moves between questions.
In the event that a test session is closed or interrupted — for example, if a proctor exits the session or testing is paused — all completed answers are automatically preserved. When the student logs back in, the system returns them to the exact item they were working on, with all prior responses intact. This continuous saving and seamless resumption process provides assurance that both the integrity of the assessment and the security of student responses are maintained at all times
