Student Login Issues
Here are the common login messages students might receive when they are trying to log in to test but are unable to.
Unable to log in: If the student is receiving this message when trying to log in, it means that the information being entered is not matching what has been generated/added in DataManager.
- Ensure the student has the correct ID. Utilize the Student Lookup to verify student information. If the student cannot be found by Student Lookup, the student might not be rostered. Your admin can assist with rostering the student so they can test.
- Confirm the session code being entered by the student. Verify the code the student is entering is the same code you see in the upper right corner of your Test Session window.
- If both the ID and the session code are correct, check to make sure the session is made for the correct grade and level the student is rostered as. This can also be verified by utilizing the Student Lookup.
Proctor has not started this session: This message appears when the proctor is not connected to the test session the student is trying to log into.
- Make sure to open the session in the Proctoring tab.
- If the session is already open, refresh your connection by closing the session, reloading your webpage by using the Reload button on your browser or CTRL+R, and open the session again.
- If refreshing the connection does not work, try clearing cache and cookies in your web browser.
