Reopen a test event

Role: Account Holder or Administrator
Important: After you close a test event, you cannot complete any additional tasks for the event. If you close a test event in error and need to reopen the event, contact the DataManager Support Center. (See the DataManager Online Help Home page for contact information.) Reopening a test event may affect the norms used for scoring and should be done with discretion.
To reopen a closed test event:
1. Click the Assessments heading, then select Test Events.
The Test Events Overview page opens. All open test events are listed in the All Test Events table.
2. From the FILTERS options at the top of the table, click the arrow inside the Status: Open box and select Closed.
3. Click the Search button.
4. (Optional): Use additional FILTERS to narrow your results by school year or assessment type, or scroll down the list of closed test events until you find the one you want to reopen. To use additional filters:

- Click the arrow beside the filter type.
- From the drop-down list, click one or more check boxes beside the assessment types you want to view.
- Click the Apply button on the drop-down box.
- Click the Search button.
5. When you find the test event you want to reopen, click the name of the event or the corresponding Manage link for that event's row. The Test Event Detail page opens.
6. Click the Reopen this test event link in the Complete Tasks box.
A confirmation message appears across the top of the page. The status of the test event changes to Open. Edit and Assign buttons appear below the status, and all available tasks in the right column are active.
