Edit a student override

You can edit a student's override values (test group and level) using the edit student override feature.

Role: Account Holder, Administrator, or Teacher

 

To edit a test assigned by student:

 

1. Access the Test Assignment Overview page. You can do this from any page on the platform. Below are some common ways.

  • From any page, click the Assessments menu, then Test Assignments.

  • OR: From the Test Events Overview page, click Assign under Actions in the row of the test event.

  • OR, to edit or confirm details for a test event first:

 

a. Click the Assessments menu, then Test Events from the sub-menu.

 

b. From the Test Events Overview page, click the name of the test event or the Manage link under Actions.

The Test Event details page opens.

 

c. Click the Edit button on the Test Event page, make any changes to the test event, then click the Assign button.

The Test Assignment Overview page opens.

 

All assignments for the default test event are listed. Student overrides are prefaced in the first column, Assign By, with Student, followed by the student's last name.

2.   Change the TEST EVENT, at the top of the table, if needed.

 

3.   Click Manage in the row of the student override you want to edit.

4.   In the Students section, Actions column, click Edit.

The Student Override modal opens with existing information for the student.

5.   Make edits to the TEST GROUP field or the Level.

 

6.   Click Save.

The modal closes, and a confirmation message appears at the top of the Test Assignment details page.
