CogAT® Testing Times, Item Counts, and Completion Criteria
Please see the charts below to find information on testing times per level, number of items per subtest, and minimum attempted to meet Completion Criteria to score.
An exception to this applies to students with an Individualized Education Program (IEP) accommodation who are allowed extended time. Guidance from the student’s IEP should be followed where extended time is needed.
Administration times may be adjusted by school-system policy for individuals or groups; responsibility for such adjustments lies with the testing program decision-maker, not the test administrators.
