Thursday, June 27th
9 AM PT | 11 AM CT | 12 PM ET
About the Session:
When conducting a comprehensive evaluation for suspicion of dyslexia and/or dysgraphia, it is imperative multiple sources of data are utilized. In addition to informal data being integrated into the evaluation, evaluators obtain important information from standardized norm-referenced tests. The Woodcock-Munoz Language Survey III (WMLS III) is one such norm-referenced test that includes necessary tests in reading, writing, listening, and speaking. This presentation will provide a brief introduction to the WMLS III and discuss suggestions for integrating the test results with other data sources for a comprehensive evaluation or dyslexia and/or dysgraphia.
Learning Objectives:
- Obtain an understanding of the policy requirements for dyslexia and dysgraphia evaluations
- Gain an understanding of the tests that make up the WMLS III
