About the Session:

Join Riverside Insights in a complimentary webinar. This session reviews the process of normative data collection and defensible use of derived scores for eligibility determination, preparing participants to confidently interpret data during the pandemic and beyond.

 

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand relevant aspects of normative data collection for standardized assessments.
  • Select metrics that accurately describe the student’s performance for the purposes of eligibility and intervention planning.
  • Use exclusionary factors and individual and home factors to inform eligibility decisions.

Instructor Credentials:

  • Beth Varner, M.Ed., NCSP is a Clinical Assessment Consultant with Riverside Insights. She completed her school psychology training program at the University of Washington in Seattle and has worked as a school psychologist in Alaska, Washington, and California.
  • Joseph Claeys, M.S., Ed.S. is a Clinical Assessment Consultant with Riverside Insights. He has worked as a school psychologist in Kansas for over 16 years and has held various other roles in the education space.

Additional Information:

All attendees will receive a Certificate of Attendance and Recording following the presentation. 1 NASP and 1 APA CE Credit will also be offered to those who qualify. This session is free of cost.
