Unable to share an examinee.
Overview
If you're trying to share an examinee in the Battelle Developmental Inventory™, Third Edition (BDI-3™), it's important to know that examinee sharing is not necessary in this system. Access is determined by location-based permissions.
Steps
-
Understand Examinee Access in BDI-3™
-
Examinees are tied to a location (e.g., school, district, or site).
-
All users with access to that location will automatically have access to examinees created within it.
-
-
Verify User Access to the Location
-
Ensure that the user who needs access is assigned to the same location as the examinee.
-
If they are not, an administrator must update their user profile to include the correct location.
-
-
No Sharing Needed
-
Unlike some platforms, you do not need to manually share examinees with other users in BDI-3™.
-
Additional Notes
-
If the examinee is not visible to another user, confirm both the examinee's and the user's assigned location match.
-
Contact your system administrator if location permissions need to be adjusted.
