Do You Need A Microsoft® Account To Download and Install The BDI-3 MDS?

Overview

To install the Battelle® Developmental Inventory, Third Edition (BDI-3™) Mobile Data Solution (MDS) on a Windows 10 device, you must be signed into a Microsoft® account. This requirement is enforced by the Microsoft Store.

Steps

1. Attempt to install the BDI-3™ MDS from the Microsoft Store.

2. When prompted, sign in using your Microsoft® account credentials.

3. If you do not have a Microsoft® account:

   • Go to https://signup.live.com to create a free account.

4. Once signed in, proceed with the download and installation of the BDI-3™ MDS.

Additional Notes

• This requirement applies to all Windows 10 and newer devices using the Microsoft Store.

• The Microsoft® account is only required for the installation step—it is not used within the BDI-3™ MDS platform itself.
