Can I use the BDI-3 Screener Item Scores/Responses to Score the BDI-3 Developmental Complete?

Although items on the BDI-3 Screening Test were sourced from the BDI-3 Developmental Complete Test, it is not recommended that users take item scores from the BDI-3 Screening Test and use that data to score items on the BDI-3 Developmental Complete. Doing so would not be aligned with standardized administration procedures for either test. 


If a user has administered the BDI-3 Screening Test, and is interested in administering the BDI-3 Developmental Complete, it is recommended that the BDI-3 Developmental Complete be administered as per standardization procedures to ensure that the data yielded from the assessment are as valid and accurate as possible.
