About the Session:

The Woodcock-Johnson V (WJ V) marks a major advancement in assessment, revolutionizing our approach to evaluating cognitive processes and learning. This latest edition will eliminate the “clerical” task of test administration so you can focus on understanding the learner. This session will highlight five ways that the new WJ V can revolutionize your practice

  • Use test selection features to increase diagnostic precision.
  • Understand the relationship between academic development and its alignment with the WJ.
  • Evaluate learning through the WJ with greater ecological validity.
  • Enhance the test session by removing clerical tasks and implementing more robust behavioral observation.

Instructor Credentials:

Edward K. Schultz, Ph.D. - Professor at the West College of Education at Midwestern State University (MSU). He is the co-author of the Core-Selective Evaluation Process (C-SEP) and has written numerous peer-reviewed articles, presented at the national and international level, and has provided trainings across the country to schools and state departments of education. Interests include SLD identification including Dyslexia , MTSS, and students with EBD.
