Co-normed, multi-language assessments, such as the Woodcock-Munoz Language Survey III, the Woodcock-Johnson IV, and the Bateria IV, play a crucial role in evaluating the language proficiency, cognitive, and academic ability of Spanish-English bilingual or Spanish-dominant students. This session will provide an in-depth explanation of the co-norming process for multi-language tests. We'll cover the importance of norming and calibration in test development and how these procedures are used to establish normative data. Participants will be equipped to make informed decisions about test selection for bilingual and Spanish evaluations. Session content is designed to be relevant to both bilingual and English-only evaluators.
