Woodcock-Johnson V System Requirements

To ensure optimal performance when using Woodcock-Johnson V (WJ V), devices should meet the following system requirements.

Examiner System Requirements

Windows

WJ V supports computers running Windows 10 or Windows 11. Supported browsers include:

  • Current version of Microsoft Edge
  • Current version of Mozilla Firefox
  • Current version of Google Chrome
  • JavaScript must be enabled

The minimum recommended screen resolution is 1920 × 1080.

Mac

For Mac computers, WJ V requires Mac OS X 13 or higher.

  • Safari 16 or higher
  • JavaScript must be enabled

Web Reports System Requirements

For both PC and Mac computers:

  • RAM: 8 GB RAM or more is recommended for optimal performance.
  • Internet/Network: A high-speed internet connection is required.
  • Browsers must support TLS 1.2 or higher to access WJ V.

Student System Requirements for Online Testing

For online student testing, the examinee device should meet the following requirements:

  • Device: iPad 8th generation or newer
  • Operating System: iOS 16 or higher
  • Device Size: 10.2 inches or larger

Recommendations for Optimal Performance

For the best testing experience on PC and Mac:

  • 8 GB RAM or more is recommended.
  • Automatic updates should be turned off during the testing window to help prevent interruptions while testing.

Before administering WJ V, examiners should confirm that both the examiner and student devices meet the applicable requirements and that the internet connection is stable.
