Which developmental milestones does BDI-3 assess?

There are five key global domains in which Battelle Developmental Inventory, 3rd Edition (BDI-3) evaluates milestone skills and behaviors within a child, birth to 7 years, 11 months. These domains include:

  1. Communication
  2. Social-Emotional
  3. Adaptive
  4. Motor
  5. Cognitive

In addition to the domains above, BDI-3 has added the all-new Battelle Early Academic Survey, with two subdomains specifically designed to measure foundational literacy and mathematics skills in children ages 3 years, 6 months to 7 years, 11 months.
