What is a Secondary Account Holder?
A Secondary Account Holder can be added to your organization's Riverside Score account. Adding one ensures your organization has a designated replacement for the Account Holder if the Account Holder leaves the organization.
Once designated, the Secondary Account Holder receives Account Holder-level permissions immediately — they don't need to wait for the primary Account Holder to leave. This allows the Secondary Account Holder to act alongside the primary Account Holder, or step in and take over in the Account Holder's absence.
Organizations can designate one Secondary Account Holder at a time. The steps to add one are the same across all tests accessible through Riverside Score.
To add a Secondary Account Holder:
- The Account Holder clicks their name in the top-right corner of Riverside Score to open the account menu.
- Click the Secondary Account Holder tab.
- Enter the username or email address of the person you want to designate.
- If this person already has an existing Examiner or Administrator profile in the account, a message will pop up saying: "A user matching this same email address or username already exists in your account. Would you like to add Secondary Account Holder access for this user?" Click Yes, and the remaining fields will automatically populate.
- If this person is new to the account, no message will appear. Instead, manually enter their First Name, Last Name, Username, Email, and Phone Number.
- Click Save.
