BDI-3: How Are The Dates and Examiner Names Handled When Merging?
This article applies to BDI-3. Merging puts the dates from each specific subdomain in the record as it was tested, as well as the examiner's name for each respective subdomain. See example below:
For example: Test Record 1 has the Self-Care subdomain completed on 06/15/2022 by Examiner A. Test Record 2 has the Adult Interaction subdomain completed on 06/15/2022 by Examiner B. After merging, the combined record shows both subdomains, each retaining its own original completion date and examiner name — dates and names are never overwritten or averaged across the merge.
