WJ V – Voice Capture and How to Review Audio Files 

When administering a test on the WJ V, some items will have Voice Capture enabled where you can revisit the question to review the audio from the examinee.

When creating a test assignment, please make sure you leave the Voice Capture on (it is on by default)

When on the launched test assignment, you will also be able to enable or disable the Voice Capture feature again. 

 

 

 

 

Audio Files can be listened to and reviewed if you flag an item. When administering a test, for each question, you will be able to hit the “Flag” icon to flag the question.

At the end of the test, you can see the items that were flagged. Click on “Review” to review the flagged items and the audio:

You will then be navigated to the first flagged item, where you can click on the “Play” icon to play the audio that was recorded during that question. Please make sure to turn your device’s volume up to listen.

If you are running into issues with recording audio, please make sure your Microphone is enabled for the browser you are using. On Chrome, you should see a Microphone icon next to the URL name. Click on the Microphone and make sure it is enabled: 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Please note: Audio files will be permanently deleted once the test record has been committed. Please make sure you review the audio files you would like to review prior to finishing and finalizing the test.
