Purpose of Stimulus Books Posted in the Riverside Score Platform
The Woodcock-Johnson® IV (WJ IV™) was not designed for remote administration. However, Riverside recognizes that there may be situations in which examiners need alternative administration options.
When administering any assessment within the WJ suite remotely, examiners must have the corresponding physical test book available, just as they would during an in-person administration. Under no circumstances should an examiner attempt to administer a test without the physical test book. The physical materials contain the administration and scoring instructions, as well as the verbal prompts required for verbally mediated tests.
Riverside does not post complete test books online, as doing so would compromise test security and violate the Terms of Use. If an examiner does not have access to the physical test book, remote administration should not be conducted.
The materials available within the Riverside Score® platform are limited to examinee-facing stimulus pages. These pages are provided solely to allow examiners to present visual stimuli to examinees during remote administration, similar to how they would present the stimulus book during an in-person assessment.
Remote administrations should follow standard in-person administration procedures as closely as possible. This includes using the physical test book to guide administration, provide instructions, deliver verbal prompts, and score responses accurately.
Riverside will not be posting entire test books online, as it significantly violates test security. Please reference our Terms of Use.
