Administrators may need to control access to certain assessments in easyCBM based on instructional goals or district policies. This article explains how to quickly enable or disable specific assessment types.


Steps to Enable or Disable Specific Assessments

  1. Log in as an Administrator
    Only users with administrative privileges can access the settings required for this task.

  2. Navigate to System Settings

    • Go to the Admin menu.

    • Select Manage System Settings from the available options.

  3. Locate the Enable Measures Card

    • Scroll down the settings page until you find the Enable Measures card.

    • This section lists all available assessments. 

  4. Select or Deselect Assessment Types

    • Check the box to enable a measure.

    • Uncheck the box to disable it.

  5. Save Your Changes
    Any changes take effect immediately for users within your district or school.


Additional Notes

Disabling an assessment removes it from view for users and prevents assignment. You can re-enable it at any time by following the same steps.
