About the Session:

This session will highlight a case study from referral for Dyslexia evaluation to decision. The case will be presented in a think-aloud format where the evaluator will organize, review, and analyze multiple sources of data. The results of the analysis will be used to develop a targeted assessment plan and testing plan. A discussion of the triangulation of test results with multiple sources of data will be highlighted. Several resources will be provided.

Instructor Credentials:

Tammy L. Stephens, PhD - An educational diagnostician and former special education teacher and has a Ph.D. in Special Education with an emphasis in Assessment. She is the author of numerous articles published in peer-reviewed journals focusing on topics including dyslexia and dysgraphia evaluations and the importance of considering exclusionary factors. Dr. Stephens is the author of Core-Selective Evaluation Process (C-SEP) and the creator of the Beyond the Score webinars.
