At the start of the COVID-19 school shutdown, a decline in student performance was predicted. 
Where are the gaps?

This study compares students’ test and skill-level performance between the pre-pandemic years and the ongoing pandemic years using multiple years of operational achievement data for the same grade cohorts.  It then goes a step further than previous research by examining the impact of the pandemic on the set of skills (domains) for Reading and Mathematics.
